Ezempilo Ebantwini Campaign Assesses Bernice Samuel Hospital

The Ezempilo Ebantwini campaign visited Bernice Samuel Hospital in Delmas, Victor Khanye Municipality, on 16 September 2026 to assess the state of healthcare services at the facility.

The visit included a walkabout and engagements with hospital management, staff and patients to assess issues such as staffing, medicines, cleanliness, infrastructure and patient experience.

The campaign aims to strengthen accountability and ensure that challenges affecting healthcare delivery are identified and addressed promptly.

The Mpumalanga Department of Health said it would continue monitoring healthcare facilities in line with Batho Pele principles, with a focus on respectful, responsive and quality services.
