Construction of New Facilities Progressing at Setsheng Secondary School

Construction of 21 new classrooms at Setsheng Secondary School in Balfour is progressing, with an acceleration plan being implemented to ensure the project gains momentum and is completed within the planned timelines.

Mpumalanga Public Works, Roads and Transport MEC Thulasizwe Thomo, together with the departmental team, conducted a site visit today to assess progress and strengthen efforts to accelerate construction while maintaining the required quality standards.

Once completed, the school will also feature a multipurpose hall, library, science laboratory, nutrition centre and other supporting facilities aimed at creating a conducive learning environment for learners and educators.

MEC Thomo said follow-up progress meetings would be held to monitor the project against agreed milestones, address challenges and ensure that construction remains on track.
